My Story
I have always had a fascination with the human body and holistic healing. I fell in love with the world of massage at the age of 15 and from then on always wanted to learn how we can heal ourselves and develop deeper connections with our body. Learning the benefits of different massage modalities, whether energetic or clinical, grant us so much power over our lives. Learning how we can take care of ourself naturally with herbs and plants, grants us the ability to alleviate and overcome various health challenges, be it physical or psycho-emotional and can reduce or eliminate the need for medications or invasive procedures.

As someone who has personally suffered from car accidents and injuries, curing myself naturally is important to me. This began my journey in understanding anatomy and natural healing therapies. Like many others, I enjoy living an active and exciting life, so the ability to live without pain is imperative to my lifestyle as a mother, student, martial artist, yogi and small business owner. With my personal and professional experience, I always consider how things feel when working on others and treat others just as I would want to be treated.

My Approach
My goal is to provide a safe, friendly and peaceful retreat for all those seeking a break from everyday pain and stress or who are embarking on a journey in health and wellness.
My unique style is a therapeutic. Which combines relaxation, stretching and trigger point therapy under a medical massage-influenced approach. This style addresses issues while still providing a relaxing and relieving experience.
I specialize in relieving headaches and low back pain. I include the use of hot stones as a therapeutic tool to enhance the experience and provide deeper release from stiff muscles and tension.

Massage therapy and aromatherapy offer a variety of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits. Whatever your goals or needs are, you will benefit from the combination of the two.
Techniques & Styles

1
Swedish Massage
Commonly referred to as 'relaxation massage' this is a relaxing style that uses a variety of strokes to stimulate circulation but does not incorporate deep body-work techniques. Pressure can range from light to firm.

Hot stones are typically accompanied to a swedish massage, however I take a more practical and medical-oriented approach to my hot stone massages.
2
Medical Massage
Medical Massage is not a specific technique but more of an 'umbrella' where multiple techniques and modalities are used. Its application requires careful assessment to use the correct treatment for a specific condition opposed to attempting to use a "one size fits all" approach to massage therapy.

Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point is a localized massage technique that pushes out specific areas of tension in the muscle fibers.
Trigger Point requires careful assessment to assure it is in fact a 'Trigger Point' and not a generic 'knot', which could be a variety of abnormalities in the tissue.
Assessment is important because pushing on any 'knot' could inadvertently create further tissue damage, that is sometimes irreversible.
